The space

The space, recognized as Michelin Dish since 2021, is commanded by chef Liliana Moura, and since March 2021 the award-winning Chef Vítor Matos. We promote Mediterranean-influenced, creative and multisensory cuisine, using the best fresh and genuine products, from the producer to the table, which allows us to transform them without canceling them, maintaining and enhancing their taste.

Vítor Matos

Vítor Matos is the master behind the gastronomic experience at HOOL.

The beginning of his professional career was divided between Switzerland and Portugal, settling in our country in 1998 at Estalagem do Paço, in Vila Real. From there, it has diversified experiences, such as at the Grande Hotel da Curia, Vidago Palace Hotel Golf & Spa, or Casa da Calçada Relais & Châteaux.

Its identity includes the use of seasonal and regional products, resulting in an absolute respect for ingredients and a current and modern cuisine, without forgetting traditions.

Liliana Moura

Executive Chef

Liliana Moura

Liliana Moura is the executive chef who runs the day-to-day operations at our restaurant. It is from her hands that all the multisensory moments comes out, and that remain in the memory of those who visit us. 

Born in MInho but with family from Trás-os-Montes, she saw her passion for cooking emerge as an adult. She started in the catering area, but ended up deviating to her current record after expanding her training and technical knowledge.

Pedro Machado is an expert in the art of hospitality. He has 10 years of experience in the area and in the HOOL Restaurant.

His sensitivity and professionalism are essential to create an unforgettable experience.
